CSESAP
Orland Unified School District (OUSD) has elected to participate in the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program (CSESAP) for the 2025-2026 school year.
This program allows eligible classified employees to defer up to 10% of their wages until the summer months, when they would not otherwise receive a paycheck, and receive up to a 1- to -1 match for each deferred dollar. It is possible the dollars available from the state for this program may not be sufficient to provide a 1-to-1 match; OUSD is not responsible to ‘make-up’ dollars the state does not provide to reach a 1-to-1 match.
Please note this program is separate and different than the “summer deferred pay program” OUSD offers to 11 month employees. Should you elect to participate in CSESAP, we will end your current standard deferred pay program. If you wish to participate in both the CSESAP and the standard deferred pay program, please send an email to payroll@orlandusd.net
To be eligible to participate in the CSESAP, a classified employee must:

Be employed with OUSD for at least one year at time of election to participate (by 3/1/2025)

Be employed by OUSD in their regular assignment for 11 months or less out of a 12 month period. Hours worked outside of regular assignment are excluded.

Regular annual pay received by OUSD is LESS than $62,400 for an entire school year at the time of enrollment. Previous summer recess pay is excluded

Notify OUSD (employer) in writing, using the CDE form by March 1, 2025*
