  • One (1) – Bus Driver/Custodian: OUSD is seeking a candidate for an 8-hour per day, 12-month per year BUS DRIVER/CUSTODIAN position (PC #491). Shift will be 2:30pm-11:00pm. This position will qualify for a night differential stipend. Shift subject to change during holiday breaks (6:30am-3:00pm) and summer breaks (6:00am-2:30pm). Must be able to complete the requirements to obtain a California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus License.) Preferred candidates will have a Class A or B passenger endorsements license. Range 14 on the Classified Salary Schedule. 
  • One (1) – Custodian: OUSD is seeking a candidate for a 6-hour per day 12-month per year CUSTODIAN position (PC #492). Shift will be 4:30pm – 11:00pm. This position will qualify for a night differential stipend. Shift subject to change during holiday breaks (6:30am-1:00pm) and summer breaks (6:00am-12:30pm). Range 12 on the Classified Salary Schedule. 
  • One (1) – Custodian: OUSD is seeking a candidate for a 3-hour per day, 12-month per year CUSTODIAN position (PC #465). Shift will be 6:00pm – 9:00pm. This position will qualify for a night differential stipend. Shift subject to change during holiday breaks (6:30am-9:30am) and summer breaks (6:00am-9:00am). Range 12 on the classified salary schedule.

The Glenn County Office of Education Human Resources Department publishes a Substitute Teachers List with periodic updates, for use by the public school within Glenn County.

Certificated Substitute Daily Rates - This salary schedule is temporary and has been increased to address the certificated
substitute shortage. The term of this schedule shall be effective July 1, 2025 and
end June 30, 2026.
