Substitute Opportunities
The Glenn County Office of Education Human Resources Department publishes a Substitute Teachers List with periodic updates, for use by the public school within Glenn County.
To view requirements for placement on the Substitute Teachers list, click here.
After the substitute is cleared by Glenn County Office of Education, the substitute will notify Orland Unified that they wish to be added to the OUSD sub-calling system.
Current cleared Substitutes can access our Aesop substitute system by clicking here to view current or already scheduled jobs. Click here to view a basic tutorial video on how to use the Aesop subcalling system.
Certificated Substitute Daily Rates - This salary schedule is temporary and has been increased to address the certificated
substitute shortage. The term of this schedule shall be effective July 1, 2025 and
end June 30, 2026.
TK-12 General and Special Education Classes
Full Day $200.00
Half Day $100.00
Long Term Substitute Rate Starting on the 21st Consecutive Day

$250.00
