  • Mill Street & Fairview – DOP Teacher K-2 – Discovery Opportunity Program -Intervention Teacher
 
Students who have a need to “discover” how to be kind, safe, responsible, and problem solvers. Provide planned learning experiences in order to motivate pupils and best utilize the available time for instruction. Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve an effective learning atmosphere in the classroom.
 
 
Increase academic classroom readiness:
  • Identify learning styles through a “Learning Styles” needs assessment.
Increase SEL classroom readiness:
  • Identify SEL needs through site or district “SEL survey”.
Increase PBIS classroom readiness:
  • Identify PBIS learning goals through site or district SEL survey.

Orland Unified School District is seeking the following positions for Summer School:

            Classified Summer School Aides – June 20- July 13 M-Th  (no Fridays)
 
Summer school aides will work mainly under the direction of a teacher- they may run some small groups outside of the classroom but they will not be planning and organizing their own groups. Summer school time will focus mainly on academics.
 
Mill St location will host incoming Kinder through 2nd grade
CK location will host 3rd -7th grade
           
2 Behavioral Aides:  1 at Mill St and 1 at CK - hours 7:30am-12:00pm
4 Yard Duty/Instructional aides:  2 at Mill and 2 at CK - hours 7:30am-12:00pm
6-12 Instructional Aides (depending on student enrollment and needs) some at Mill and some at CK - hours 8:00am-12:00pm
 
Summer School SPARK :
Instructional Aides will plan, organize and run their own groups.  
We will need up to 15 depending on student enrollment and needs.  Hours will be 11am-6pm
 
Classified will be paid summer wages of $22.50/hr

The Glenn County Office of Education Human Resources Department publishes a Substitute Teachers List with periodic updates, for use by the public school within Glenn County.

After  the substitute is cleared by Glenn County Office of Education, the substitute will notify Orland Unified that they wish to be added to the OUSD sub-calling system.

Certificated Substitute Daily Rates - This salary schedule is temporary and has been increased to address the certificated
substitute shortage. The term of this schedule shall be effective August 15, 2022 and
end June 30, 2023.

TK-12 General and Special Education Classes
Full Day $175.00
Half Day $87.50

Long Term Substitute Rate Starting on the 21st Consecutive Day
Grades TK-12
$225.00
