Getting involved in extracurricular activities is a good way for students to meet new people, develop new skills, make a contribution and have some fun.
 
You can display your talents, develop your leadership and organizational abilities, learn to make decisions and manage your time, and enhance your people skills – all traits that will help you in high school and beyond.
 
Check out the many clubs and organizations you can join:
California Junior Scholarship FederationThe purpose of the California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is to foster high standards of scholarship, service, and citizenship on the part of students of the high schools of California.
Drama ClubThe Drama Club stages a fall and spring play each year. Not only do students act in the plays, but they also construct the sets, apply make-up, make costumes, and learn stage management.
Key ClubKey Club International is one of the oldest and largest service programs for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership
CSFThe California Scholarship Federation and the California Junior Scholarship Federation (CSF and CJSF) emphasize high standards of service, scholarship, and citizenship for California middle and high school students. CSF and CJSF encourage service to the school and community while fostering pride in scholastic achievement.
M.E.S.A.The M.E.S.A. (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement) program is for those who like a good challenge and love math. They meet after school 3 times a week. They start with a warm-up, then a page of math problems and homework to challenge the students. There is always healthy brain fo
FNLFriday Night Live builds partnerships for positive and healthy youth development which engage youth as active leaders and resources in their communities.
Pep Squad (Cheerleaders)Cheerleading is an activity that supports the school sports programs. Cheering for fall and winter sports helps boost school spirit and develops leadership and communication skills, strength and agility.
Book ClubBook discussion club, a group of people who meet to discuss a book or books that they have read
Student GovernmentBe a part of the smooth running of our school by joining Student Government. Help plan social events and activities for students during the school year. Student Council also provides leadership in community service projects, such as clothing drives and Thanksgiving food boxes, and fundraising events such as the annual magazine drive.
