| | Parents & Guardians,
We are now into our eighth week of school and everything is going great. First, we have successfully implemented a rigorous new math program which the teachers and students really like. Also, we have implemented a new intervention time for all Fairview students in Reading. Students are placed by their comprehension and fluency scores and then reevaluated every six weeks. We look forward to tracking student progress and seeing them move up in levels. Ask your child about their group.
Another piece of exciting news is the staff has recently defined our school vision. The staff worked hard on creating this statement and they were encouraged to make it simple but meaningful. Fairview is all about K.I.D.S.
K- Knowledge is empowerment I- Inspiration to soar D- Determination to succeed S- Safety for all
On behalf of all the Fairview KIDS, thank you for your support and encouragement.
Steve Hiscock Principal

| | In order to keep our campus and our students safe we ask that ALL visitors check in at our main office. Our staff will give friendly reminders if we see someone we have not met on campus without a visitor's pass. Please rest assured that we do this for the safety of our kids.
If there is an emergency event at school, we ask that you keep our phone lines clear and do not come to the school site. This allows us to accomodate emergency vehicles and keep our communication lines open with emergency agencies. Please refer to the emergency information section of the district homepage for continuous updates.
